YMCA Cape Town’s residence is a home away from home situated in Observatory, Cape Town. It’s central location and close proximity to public transport grants residents easy access to the CBD, University of Cape Town, Cape Peninsula University of Technology and many other popular destinations.

Our facilities include over 80 single rooms, self-catering units, a cleaning service, a laundry service, a recreational room and TV lounge.

Individual Bookings

Deposit: R3 000.00
Monthly: R5 990.00
(Payable on or before the first day of the month.)

Daily: R350 per night

Group Bookings

Deposit: Price is dependent on the size of the group.

Daily rate: Please email us for the daily rate and availability of rooms.

    We opened our gym in 2016. Since then, it’s become an important part of daily life at the Y and it caters to both residents and non-residents alike.

    Times

    Mondays to Fridays: 07:00 to 19:00

    Saturdays: 07:00 to 12:00

    Sundays and public holidays: Closed
